Land Clearing for Property Development
Complete clearing of wooded and brushy acreage for homes, cabins, agricultural expansion, pasture, access, and other planned uses.
From standing timber and brush through stump removal and rough leveling, Foster Land & Timber prepares the project area for the work ahead. We leave a cleared, workable site ready for the next phase of your project.
A Scope That Fits the Property and the Plan
When the purpose of clearing is to build, expand, create access, or improve how the property can be used, cutting the timber is only part of the job. You should not be left with scattered debris, exposed stumps, major holes, and an unexpected list of additional contractors to hire.
Foster Land & Timber plans the clearing around what the property needs to become. We remove the agreed timber and vegetation, address stumps and disturbed areas, and prepare a workable surface for the next phase.
Built Around the End Use
Clearing limits and site conditions are planned around what you intend to build or create.
Defined Before Work Begins
You know what will be removed, what will remain, and the condition of the area at handoff.
Ready for What Comes Next
Work is coordinated around your construction, agricultural, access, or property-improvement timeline.

Tell Us What You’re Planning
We begin with the future use, required area, priorities, and anticipated timeline.
Walk the Property
Foster L&T reviews clearing limits, timber, brush, terrain, access, equipment needs, and site conditions.
Define the Scope and Handoff
The proposal states what will be removed, what work is included, and how the project area will be left.
Coordinate the Clearing
Work is scheduled around access, builders, excavation contractors, seasonal conditions, and the next phase.
Prepare the Workable Area
The agreed clearing, stump work, debris handling, hole filling, and rough leveling are completed.
What Happens to the Timber?
Marketable timber is evaluated as part of the overall project. Species, quality, volume, access, terrain, and current demand determine whether it has meaningful commercial value.
When sufficient marketable timber is present, its value may be reflected in the project structure. The presence of trees alone does not guarantee payment or an offset. The primary outcome remains a cleared, workable site prepared for its planned use.
The landowner retains control over how agreed timber is handled. Usable material can remain on the property, or Foster L&T can coordinate its hauling and removal as part of the written project scope.
Timber handling, ownership, removal, and any applicable value or credit are documented in the written proposal before work begins.
